UPI-Ljudska Univerza Žalec
UPI – Žalec People’s University is a public institution for adult and youth education. It was founded in 1975 as the Workers’ University of Žalec. In 1990, the Workers’ University was renamed UPI – Žalec People’s University. The founders of UPI – People’s University of Žalec are in different parts of the municipalities of Braslovče, Prebold, Polzela, Tabor, Vransko and Žalec. The abbreviation UPI stands for training and continuing education . With the expansion of educational programs, the number of employees also increased and today UPI – People’s University employs 15 people.
