VHS Hannover

The Volkshochschule Hannover, founded in 1919, is a non-profit adult education institution under tutorship of the Municipality of Hanover.

The school offers a programme each year of around hundred and twenty thousand teaching periods. In total around thirty thousand participants attend to our further education courses each year. The further education program includes all aspects of general, vocational, social and cultural education. The main objective laid down in the constitution of the organisation is to help all citizens to participate in all aspects of social life.
