\t\tThe Global Entrepreneurial Talent Management 4 (GETM4) project\u2019s sandpit meeting in South Korea was a harmonious blend of innovative discussions and cultural immersion. Hosted by Chonnam National University (CNU) and Kyungpook National University (KNU), this sandpit focused on digital innovation and entrepreneurial talent and provided participants with a unique cultural experience.\u00a0\t\t<\/p>\n

Welcoming Global Innovators <\/h3>\n

\t\tThe seminar began on Monday, April 22nd, at KNU in Daegu. The Head of the International Office at KNU set the stage for a week of insightful discourse with a warm reception, welcoming global minds to South Korea\u2019s hub of innovation.\u00a0\t\t<\/p>\n

A Deep Dive into Digital Transformation <\/h3>\n

\t\tThe first day featured sessions that delved into the digital landscape, with Oh Seahwan\u2019s \u2018Digital Innovation I\u2019 and Professor Troy Fuhriman\u2019s introduction to KNU\u2019s research initiatives. These discussions provided a foundation for understanding the role of digital innovation in shaping entrepreneurial ventures.\u00a0\t\t<\/p>\n

Strategic Collaborations <\/h3>\n

\t\tThroughout the week, participants moved to the CNU campus in Gwangju and received a warm reception by Professor Ilsang Ko. The secondees engaged in strategic sessions focused on the GETM4 project\u2019s work packages helping the team to better structure and design the main deliverables. Participants also could attend presentations by both KNU and CNU researchers, where they shared insights on their work in development and built a valuable relationship for further collaboration. \u00a0\t\t<\/p>\n

Reflecting on Tradition and Mindfulness <\/h3>\n

During the weekend, the event\u2019s cultural journey peaked with a temple stay at Baekyang, where attendees could opt to participate in traditional practices and enjoy a meal prepared by the Temple Food Academy with Jeong Kwan-Snim, renowned for integrating mindfulness into culinary practices. This experience was not only about relaxation but also about understanding the importance of mindfulness in fostering innovation.\u00a0<\/p>\n

The seminar concluded with the vibrant Hampyung Butterfly Festival, where attendees celebrated biodiversity and the beauty of nature, symbolising the transformative journey of the GETM4 project itself.\u00a0<\/p>\n
