The Global Entrepreneurial Talent Management 4 (GETM4) project convened in Dublin for an intensive week of collaboration, knowledge exchange, and strategic planning. Hosted by TU Dublin, this international gathering brought together experts, researchers, and practitioners to explore innovative approaches to talent management, entrepreneurship and digital impact.<\/p>\n

Setting the Stage <\/h3>\n

\t\tThe event commenced on Monday, January 22nd, at TU Dublin\u2019s Grangegorman campus. Attendees registered amidst a buffet lunch, setting the stage for what promised to be a dynamic week. The opening ceremony, held at St. Lawrence\u2019s Church, where Dr. Brendan Jennings, Vice-President for Research and Innovation at TU Dublin greeted the participants,\u00a0featured a thought-provoking address by TU Dublin\u2019s Head of Computer Science School, Dr. Paul Doyle and Prof. Alison Pearce, GETM4\u2019s Project Lead, who introduced the project\u2019s objectives and emphasised the importance of fostering entrepreneurial talent.\u00a0\t\t<\/p>\n

In-Depth Discussions <\/h3>\n

\t\tTuesday, January 23rd, delved into substantive discussions. Led by Prof. Mark Bailey, sessions explored the concept of \u201cdeposits\u201d \u2013 what participants can contribute) and \u201cwithdrawals\u201d \u2013 what they can take away. Engaging conversations ensued, with attendees sharing insights and experiences. \u00a0\t\t<\/p>\n

Research Streams and Strategy <\/h3>\n

\t\tWednesday, January 24th, shifted focus to research streams. The leads guided participants through a comprehensive world tour of project components. From deliverables to action plans, attendees explored strategies for maximizing impact.\u00a0\u00a0\t\t<\/p>\n

\t\tThe week concluded on Friday with a day tour in Glendalough, in Wicklow County \u2014an opportunity to step away from meeting rooms and immerse in Ireland\u2019s natural beauty. Against the backdrop of rolling hills and ancient monastic ruins, participants could have a moment to refresh their minds after this intense week of work meetings.\t\t<\/p>\n
