If appropriate, they may provide an intermediate step to using the cluster.<\/p>\n        <\/section>\n\n        <section class=\"card\">\n            <h3>Types of Available Servers<\/h3>\n            <p>There are two distinct categories of leased servers. Leases are allocated on a per-project basis to ensure dedicated performance for your research or development work.<\/p>\n            \n            <div class=\"service-highlights\">\n                <div class=\"highlight-item\">\n                    <h4>Class A Servers &#8211; GPU Machines<\/h4>\n                    <p>These are designated GPU machines, equipped with CUDA and TensorFlow, designed specifically for tasks requiring high-capacity parallel computing, especially training models.<\/p>\n                <\/div>\n                \n                <div class=\"highlight-item\">\n                    <h4>Class B Servers &#8211; CPU Machines<\/h4>\n                    <p>These are conventional CPU machines. The resources are intended to be a convenient defined-term solution for modest capability computing needs in a single-user environment. The single-user context allows for full user-autonomy on the machine for the duration of the lease facilitating open-ended system configuration.<\/p>\n        <\/section>\n\n        <section class=\"card\">\n            <h3>Requesting Access<\/h3>\n            <p>To request access to a computing server, please fill out the <a href=\"https:\/\/forms.office.com\/Pages\/DesignPageV2.aspx?subpage=design&#038;FormId=yxdjdkjpX06M7Nq8ji_V2haiVA9c0IJAnidWW4e9BitUMlZXNDg5MkdEOVIxNTgzU01KV0lZQlVQSC4u\">online request form<\/a>. The allocation process follows these guidelines:<\/p>\n            \n            <div class=\"guide-section\">\n                <h4>Initial Lease<\/h4>\n                <p>Servers are leased for a predefined period based on the project&#8217;s requirements and server availability.<\/p>\n            <\/div>\n            \n            <div class=\"guide-section\">\n                <h4>Renewals<\/h4>\n                <p>Subject to demand and your project needs, leases can be renewed by submitting a renewal request before current lease expires.<\/p>\n            <\/div>\n        <\/section>\n\n        <section class=\"card\">\n            <h3>Accessing Your Server<\/h3>\n            <p>Ubuntu is a widely used, open-source Linux distribution. Servers are configured with Ubuntu 18\/22 LTS as standard. Access is through Secure Shell (SSH), which allows encrypted connections to remote servers, enabling you to run commands and manage files from your local machine.<\/p>\n            \n            <div class=\"guide-section\">\n                <h4>For Linux\/Mac Users<\/h4>\n                <p>Access your leased server through the terminal application with these steps:<\/p>\n                <div class=\"command-example\">\n                    ssh username@server_address\n                <\/div>\n                <p>Enter your password when prompted to establish the secure connection.<\/p>\n            <\/div>\n            \n            <div class=\"guide-section\">\n                <h4>For Windows Users<\/h4>\n                <p>Windows users can access their leased server through an SSH client. Download and install an SSH client like PuTTY, then enter your server&#8217;s address to connect.
