ICHEC, The Irish Centre for High-End Computing, is Ireland’s national High-Performance Computing (HPC) centre, providing computing resources, e-infrastructure, services and expertise freely to academia, industry and the public sector.
Kay, Ireland’s national HPC service, reached end-of-life in November 2023. An Interim Service hosted by MeluXina in Luxembourg will provide compute resources for Irish researchers until Kay’s successor CASPIr comes on-line in 2025.
In this information session for current and prospective users of HPC, we will discuss the transition to the Interim Service, the new service CASPIr, and related programmes and opportunities for researchers.
Senior ICHEC staff including ICHEC Director Prof. J.-C. Desplat will be available on the day to answer any queries.
